The description is sweeping,considering that many of the teams actually put up spirited performance but still fell. ill-luck, you could say, played a part. But not for Nigeria that had 60% of its qualification for the next round performed for them by Argentina, but still couldn't deliver the 40% of beating south Korea. And that is after being presented with gaping opportunities begging to be converted to goals. In the last two matches such chances were up to four, one of them qualifying as the worst miss in the history of the world cup. If it is an achievement to be in the Guinness book of records , the super eagles cannot be found wanting.
